When mmaclise was a little girl she wished her name was Penny. What a peach! Well, she didnt change her name, she stuck with the one she was born with. Through the years she grew-up to be a fine young lady. One day she was minding her own business, getting a cup of coffee, when she met a charming young barista. They fell in love, and were eventually married. That fellow was my best friend, and now I love mmaclise like my own sister.

There are so many reasons why I want to meet Bill Clinton. I’d have to say that hitting the town would be right up there on the list. I bet we’d have a hell of a night!

Wendell was a childhood friend of my father’s. Their lives took very different paths, as my dad left Kentucky for NYC, but Wendell has always been at the very top of my list of heroes.

After college I was working on a documentary for TNT. We were interviewing all sorts of amazing people around America. I though it would be great to get WB, so I called him to ask. Despite his friendship with my family he declined to be filmed, explaining his aversion to television and media exposure.

I really appreciated his reply, and although I wish we could have filmed an interview with him, it made me respect him even more.
